Mateusz Łabuz was a speaker at the Friedenswerkstatt “Konflikte und Konfliktbearbeitung im digitalen Raum” organized by the Evangelical Church in Germany. The event was organized to better prepare social institutions in Germany for the challenges related to the development of modern technologies.

In his speech, Mateusz talked about cyber threats and information threats, which are gaining in strength, posing a significant challenge to democracy and democratic societies. The lively discussion drew attention, among others, to the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence tools, which already affect cybersecurity (e.g., by creating new attack vectors and strengthening capabilities of threat actors), but can also support the creation of more effective countermeasures.
